Festive Flair - The Eid Edit 2019

In News 18 comments

The top Pakistani fashion houses across the country have churned out some of the most stunning designs this year which are so wearable you will find that they are not limited to Eid. These designs are also perfect for the imminent summer wedding season.

We are super excited for the upcoming celebrations and to help you look the best version of yourself here is a brief summary of all of our Eid collections, helping you to take your pick of the latest fashion to drop, followed by a selection of our top picks and how to style them effortlessly. Turn your notifications on and keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram and Facebook pages on Chand Raat for something special for all of our HOFashionista's!

Elan Official

Khadijah Shah really is a force to be reckoned with. She presents 8 fabulous outfits which are mostly adorned with beautiful thread-work designs. Khadijah is an innovator in her craft, have you ever seen galaxies embroidered on to an outfit? Well now you have and we can confirm that (when done right) it works.

Faraz Manan

We didn't expect anything less from Mr Manan who has given us super sleek silhouettes which is pretty much in line with what we have seen from his designs over the last year. 8 signature sophisticated long-line outfits which scream luxury.

Iznik Fashions

This year we have sourced 2 of Iznik's festive collections; the 'Chand Bali 2019' which presents 12 three piece options and the '2 piece festive collection '19' which is made up of 10 reasonably priced designs.

If you are looking for something colourful and more traditional opt for a Chand Bali design (we think these are fab for mehndi parties), otherwise the 2 piece festive collection is a more toned down line made up of pretty knee-length thread & sequin embroidered shirts paired with straight trousers.

A-meenah offical

If you haven't seen the new A-meenah 'Beaute du Patrimoine' collection where have you been hiding? A-meenah have pulled out all of the stops and have shifted gears. The entire campaign boasts some of the biggest names in the Pakistani fashion scene. A team led by the best designers in Pakistan - shot & styled by huge names such as Azeem Sani, Shoaib Khan, Ghadeer Alee, Aaria Danoor and the Bee Works (Bilal Tariq) modelled by the stunning Sadaf Kanwal and Munsif Ali Khan all against the backdrop of the beautiful Badhshahi Masjid! This collection is so on-trend and sophisticated it gives us major ASMR - we just can't deal! Elevate your style levels with 10 stunning designs to choose from. We would like to add that they generously provide 2 scarf pieces with each outfit, one digital printed and one plain. A few of the digital printed scarf's are embellished which adds extra glam to the ensemble.

Sana Safinaz

Muzlin Luxury '19 is a collection of 12 digital print and embroidered suits. We are seeing a lot of cream and white against blocks of colours and bold motifs which are perfectly geared toward formal summer functions.

The Lawn '19 Festive collection comprises of 10 elegant outfits which all seem to be designed with summer and warmer temperatures in mind. These outfits are not at all fussy, we are not seeing heavy fringes and trimmings which means they are comfortable and practical but as always with Baroque they are super stylish. We also love the level of quality that Baroque bring to the table.

Maria B

We have doubled up on another festive set - the Maria B 'Lawn '19 Festive collection' (10 outfits) and the 'Mbroidred Eid '19 collection' (8 outfits). As always with Maria B most of these outfits have already sold out on pre-order and there is a very good reason for this, her designs are so quintessentially Pakistani that they appeal to almost everyone. With lovely gharara's, shalwar kameez, anarkali dresses and trouser suits Maria has covered a number of styles. The masses love Maria B, her designs are at the heart of Pakistani's both domestic and internationally.

'Desert Rose Festive '19' is made up of 10 statement pieces all of which are named after desert's or desert related themes. All, bar one, are short hemmed shirts paired with trousers. As we like to keep our blog honest and unbiased Mushq have just fallen short of hitting the (universal) mark with this line, these are niche styles for bold dressers.

Epoque x Suffuse

We are offered another collaboration collection for 2019 via Epoque & Suffuse by Sana Yasir. The 2 houses have joined forces to create designs which (in their own words) are dedicated to ' Epoque women who are strong, who travel the world and stay true to their roots, it's a tribute to the independent go getters who we proudly call our own' .

The outfits are oriental themed which has had a surprisingly huge influence on the leading Pakistani fashion designers this year. It's something refreshing and different. Epoque x Suffuse we love your philosophy and we are impressed with the 10 colourful designs.

Anaya by Kiran Chaudhry

There are 10 sets in the 'Aarzoo Festive collection', 7 of which are already sold out on our website as we comprise this blog. With the nations sweetheart Mawra Hocane being the face of the campaign there was little doubt that the collection would fly off of the shelves. We however don't think it's all down to Mawra, the outfits are so pretty and delicate and Kiran is an artisan who we believe genuinely understands her craft. She has delivered a splendid feminine range. Also, from a price point perspective the clothes appear more luxurious than their surprisingly mid ranged price tag.

Zaha is another line from acclaimed creative Khadijah Shah which is focused on affordable fashion. Zaha's first Eid Collection named 'Feyroz' comprises of 15 lightweight and airy cotton and lawn ensembles which were inspired by (as Khadijah states) the little details surrounding family gatherings at Eid time. The collection has many traditional accents; shalwars, flowing trousers and graceful loose-fitting shirts which means that this line is a staple and not disposable fashion. The colour palette is light and summery. The beauty of this collection is in its considerate-inclusiveness, you can envisage every female family member in at least one of these outfits. It has a really pretty and homely feel about it which we find irresistible.

In our previous blog we listed Gulaal as one of the most stunning festive collections this year and we still stand by that statement despite further festive releases since. There are 16 stunning designs in total. Each look has 2 variations, so plenty of options to choose from. The colour combinations are pretty and harmonious. The best thing is that these outfits are all suitable wedding wear.

Here are our 3 top outfit picks for Eid-Ul-Fitr and a visual of how we would style them. As a thank you to our fabulous customers and followers this Eid HOF are hosting one of the biggest worldwide giveaways to date.
